Cancellation Policy

We understand plans change. Our flexible cancellation policy is designed to give you peace of mind when booking surf lessons with GoSurf Sri Lanka.

Free Cancellation (24+ Hours Notice)

  • You may cancel your surf lesson free of charge up to 24 hours before the scheduled start time.
  • A full refund will be issued to your original payment method within 5–7 business days.
  • To cancel, please contact us via WhatsApp or email with your booking reference number.

Late Cancellation (Less Than 24 Hours)

  • Cancellations made less than 24 hours before the lesson start time are considered late cancellations.
  • A cancellation fee of 50% of the lesson price will apply.
  • The remaining 50% will be refunded to your original payment method.
  • Alternatively, you may request to reschedule your lesson at no additional charge, subject to instructor availability.

Weather-Related Cancellations

  • Safety is our top priority. If weather or sea conditions are deemed unsafe by your instructor, the lesson will be cancelled or rescheduled at no cost to you.
  • You may choose to reschedule to the next available slot or receive a full refund.
  • Weather-related decisions are made at the sole discretion of the instructor based on surf conditions, wind, rain, and tide.
  • We will notify you as early as possible — typically by 6:00 AM on the day of the lesson.

No-Show Policy

  • If you do not arrive at the designated meeting point within 15 minutes of the scheduled lesson time without prior notice, it will be recorded as a no-show.
  • No-shows are non-refundable, and the full lesson fee will be charged.
  • If you are running late, please contact your instructor or our team immediately — we will do our best to accommodate you.

  • Our team typically responds within 1–2 hours during business hours (7:00 AM – 6:00 PM Sri Lanka Time).
